FISHING
The Apple River is known for its excellent fishing,
with plenty of panfish, northern pike, largemouth bass,
and near-record sized muskies to be caught.
An errant large perch has even been landed.
Other local lakes have great crappie and bass populations
and even a few walleye to be landed.
Whether you're an experienced angler or a beginner,
we can help you find a few spots to cast your line.
HIKING AND NATURE TRAILS
The CBC is surrounded by miles of hiking and nature trails,
and our own mini-trail on the western portion of the property,
perfect for exploring this part of Wisconsin.
Get up close and personal with nature
and discover the local flora and fauna.
A quick internet search on your handheld device
will bring up many opportunities for this type of outside fun.
TOUR THE TOWN
Amery, St. Croix Falls,Turtle Lake, and other towns in the area
have numerous businesses and activities to tempt the curious traveler.
These include second-hand stores, fast food locations, and restaurants
to name only a few. Additional offerings include a golf course,
walking and motorized trails, and numerous parks.
